We were asked in class to analyze a mobile blog post or news item to preparing for the proximity survey. There is a summary of PC World article about Apple's iPad which is new types of computer. I want to discuss the iPad with students.
What the iPad provides
The iPad is a tablet computer, which is bigger than smart phone and thinner than net book. It is control everything by large multi-touch screen. The iPad is using the same OS, the same basic interface, and the same touch-sensitive input as iPhone or iPod touch which owned by around 75 millian people. It looks like a big iPod touch. However, the iPad provides a full size keyboard so users are easily use the office programs, website and e-mail. We can watching TV shows and browsing photos by iPad's large screen.
Why the iPad are focused on people?
The iPad has a lot of benefits to users, there are two reasons that people focus on the iPad
Battery life : iPad's battery life is up to 10hours. It is longer than regular netbook.
Accessories : Apple's accessories are focused on people because of stylish. We can use iPad Keyboard Dock to charger and sync to computer.
